All the stoneware from Blazing Star Pottery is hand made by Michael Blazing. The pieces are glazed and fired to cone 6 (2200 degrees F). All glazes used are lead and cadmium free and are food safe. Every piece is made to be enjoyed, and are oven, dishwasher and microwave safe.
Care Instructions:
When baking, preheat the oven, dish and food at the same time.
Never use pieces over an open flame.
When using a piece for hot liquids (like mugs and teapots), warm the piece first with warm tap water.
If fast temperature changes are avoided, your pieces will serve you for many years to come!
